Customer's heat pump is leaking on the basement floor every time they turn the unit on. Upon investigation, Home owner had water all over the garage floor from the AC coil not draining upon further investigating I found a second pee trap out side the home besides the one at the furnace. Having two pee traps on the drain causes a water lock and wound allow water to drai properly. I removed the pee trap inside and water started to drain instantly. Als performed Heat pump maintenace whatcha checked out with flying colors. Alloperations normal at this time. Sign up for HVAC club membership

Customer stated that their heat pump will be heating the home and then suddenly kick into defrost mode. When the unit goes into defrost mode, it begins blowing cold air into the home rather than heating however, once it finally cycles through defrost it begins heating the home again. Upon investigation, the technician found that the unit was low on refrigerant. We preformed an electronic leak detection of a heat pump, added 10 oz of refrigerant to the unit. We also found that a restricted TXV valve was sending the unit into defrost mode.

CM Heating went out for a Heat pump Diagnostic - Complaint with noise is the same as last visit, furnace was leaning just a little forward causing the base can to squeal. I taped around base, and leaned the furnace slightly back adjusting bracket. Noise is gone and all operations normal. There is an issue with airflow on the left side of home, very little air is coming from registers. The ducting looks crushed and will most likely need replacing.
