Customer's Rheem heat pump isn't cooling the home properly. Upon investigation, the technician found the system would not turn on, only blower would kick on. I checked the outdoor unit and saw diagnostic code for high pressure switch. After going inside discovered the filter was dirty. In heating this may have tripped the limit switch. Replaced filter and system is functioning properly

Customer's AC is not responding to the thermostat, will not cool down the home & is only blowing warm air. Upon investigation, the technician found System was operational upon arrival. Components within the unit are within manufacturer’s specifications. Pressures looked good. Filter was dirty, believed to be main cause for long run cycles, low cooling output. If problem persists, may need to have ducts cleaned due to obstructions in them.

The technician was sent out to preform a leak test to determine why refrigerant was low on a 3 year old system. Low refrigerant in the system can result in inefficient operations and eventually over working the compressor motor to failure. Recharging and locating possible leak is recommended to preserve efficiency and functionality of AC. The technician could not locate any major leaks. Replaced Schrader Cores and added CoolSeal to ensure any possible small leaks are closed. Added a total of 2 lbs R410 to system. SH dropped from 50 to 15, SC rose from 4 to 15. Indoor coil is no longer icing up.
