CM Heating performed a Maintenance on a gas furnace. System is running upon arrival. Tested and inspected all major components. Found inducer motor showing some premature signs of failure. Found the blower assembly was pretty dirty and should be cleaned to help reduce stress to motor. Found system is 14 years old and starting to show some major signs of wear. Might be a better idea to start considering replacement rather than repair.

CM Heating went out for a furnace diagnostic and Diagnosed pressure switch was filled with water making it so the switch wouldn’t close. Cleared the water and the system started running. Found filter was also completely clogged up. Did not replace filter as I did not have correct size, homeowner will need to buy new filter. I would recommend annual maintenance and replacing filters every 3 months. System is running at this time.

Diagnosed on gas furnace. Diagnosed a failed igniter which homeowner approved replacing. Replaced igniter and system is now running. In 2017, homeowner had us out to do maintenance for a club visit. We unfortunately missed out on honoring the AC visit. In order to make things right, I honored a visit for the furnace today since the homeowner was having issues with the furnace. We got him renewed on club membership going forward for both furnace and AC. We will need to honor AC this summer. Discounted diagnostic fee today as well. Tested and inspected all major components inside furnace. System is running, but at 23 years old, the parts are starting to wear out. The blower motor is leaking some oil and the fan assembly is kind of dirty. Recommended that homeowner start considering replacement options.
