CM Heating Performed a heating maintenance service on the gas furnace. -Took measurements of consumable components and verify they are within specific tolerance. -Ensure all safety devices are in proper working order. -Inspect electrical and mechanical components for premature wear/failure. -Conducted a CO2 reading, performance temperatures, inspected for gas leaks and/or carbon. -Inspect overall operations. -Replaced filter with new. -Vacuumed carbon dust from cabinet. My findings: 1. 13 year old system has some light noise resonating from the inducer motor may indicate bearing wear or excessive carbon residue built up. 2. Blower motor has excessive dirt/dust build up. Air filter extremely dirty. Last changed 8/2017. 3. Excessive carbon dust- Mostly due to system running with restricted air flow. Abnormal air/fuel ratio. 4. Sparked and flame sensor showing some wear. 13 years old original components. 5. No gas line drip leg.
